East Ferry Rowing Club Annual Boat Push
The new 2017/2018 season is on the horizon and East Ferry Rowing club has begun its fundraising campaign, beginning with the annual boat push in April.
At 10.30 am on the 22nd of April, the 'Saints and Sinners' club race boat will begin its journey from Ballycotton Transport in Knockgriffin, Midleton to be pushed by club members through main street Midleton, onwards through Ballinacurra onto Saleen and finally to its final destination on the East Ferry Pier.
With the ever expanding club, a high demand is placed on equipment and facilities. The money raised throughout the fundraising campaign will be used to purchase new oars and a new boat to keep up with this club demand.
Sponsorship cards will be supplied to each member in the upcoming days and there will be collection buckets available on the day for any contributions.
The club committee wishes to thank individuals who have contributed funds in the past, it is greatly appreciated, and to its main sponsor for the 2017/2018 season, 'East Ferry Farm'.
