East Ferry Boat Push Success!
Saturday April 22nd saw East Ferry rowing club push the 'Saints and Sinners' club boat from Ballycotton Transport in Midleton, through Ballinacurra, onto Saleen and finally to its home on East Ferry Pier.
With a massive club turnout, beautiful weather and large ques of traffic!, the club managed to push the boat a total of 11.5 Km in just over 4 hours as a part of the 2017 fundraising campaign.
The club would like to thank everybody who kindly donated to the club. All donations will be put towards a new club boat and to every member who gave their time for the push.
A special thankyou to Pasquale and Lynda of La Trattoria Midleton and Tena, Carrie and Rose for supplying the club with food and drinks throughout the push. Ballycotton transport for the use of their grounds and donation of hi-vis jackets and East Ferry Farm for their ongoing sponsorship of the club.
